You might have tried putting phones in different rooms when they charge, which just increases the risk that you’ll forget where you left one and have to go searching for it. Instead of trying to find some nascent technical solution to the issue, a better plan is to pick a specific area of your house that everyone can use to charge their gear. Keep all of the chargers in that section and don’t let them migrate to some other section of the home if you can avoid it. Obviously, someone will need to take a cord with them if they run their battery down during a long call, but it’s best if you can keep things close together the rest of the time.

Plan For Every Type Of Phone
In spite of almost constant efforts to standardize plugs, different phone brands still often rely on cords that aren’t compatible with one another. A majority of phones are going to use some kind of universal serial bus adapter, but unfortunately, there are now several competing types that manufacturers can choose from. See how many of your phones can use the same type of cords, and put all of these in one section of your home.
The good news is that prepaid phones use the same kind of plugs as their contract-bound counterparts. You won’t have to invest in a different charger just because your family has an unconventional phone plan. Try getting a special box or other container to hold all of the cords and charge blocks in their designated area. This can go a long way toward eliminating clutter.
Repurpose Some Furniture
Depending on how willing you are to make things on your own, you could put together a little holder for all of the USB plugs you need to keep all of your phones charged. It’s a great project for those who have some experience. Those who don’t may want to either take a piece of furniture they’re not currently using or find something used at a good price in a local thrift shop.
Position a table or small bookcase close to an outlet so you can plug all of your devices in without any difficulty. If your chosen piece is large enough, then you might even want to use it to store all of your other phone accessories. Families who often lose their cases or screen cleaning kits will always know where to look when they need them. Those who pick a piece that has drawers can even use them to keep their gear from getting dusty.
